Stitch Meditation Saturday April 18 9am-1pm

$25.00

Join Michelle Greenhouse at Signature Arts for a Stitch Meditation Class. Arrive to a calm, welcoming space with coffee, tea and homemade warm muffins (gluten free) provided.

Stitch Meditation is a creative, mindful practice that supports stress reduction, deepened awareness, and the discovery of your own creative voice. Through slow, intentional hand stitching, you’ll explore how simple repetitive movements can quiet the mind and invite calm, focus, and presence.

In this three-hour workshop, you’ll be guided through a meditative stitching process that blends basic hand-sewing techniques with mindfulness practices. The emphasis is on process rather than perfection, allowing space for intuition, curiosity, and gentle exploration. While the focus is not on producing a finished piece, participants will leave with at least one 5″ x 5″ stitched fabric collage as a reflection of their time in practice. The instructor will provide a beautiful selection of hand-dyed and vintage Japanese shibori fabrics to work with throughout the class.

No experience or supplies needed. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to slow down.
